The London Eye or Millenium Wheel was the tallest Ferris Wheel in the world (443ft) when it first opened in the year 2000. Of course the Chinese couldn’t have that, so they built a bigger one called the Star of Nanchang (525ft). Not to be outdone, Singapore soon after rolled out the Singapore Flyer (541ft). The next challenger to swoop in and claim the title could be a city near you!

Jurong Bird Park
in Singapore is a massive bird-lovers paradise. Contained within the park is the largest indoor aviary in the world, giant waterfall included, where exotic birds can eat their lunch out of your hand. Awesome!

The Katoomba Scenic Railway, built in the late 1800s at the Blue Mountains of Australia, is still the steepest incline railway in the world, transporting passengers down through a canyon cliffside, into a lush ancient rainforest and back up before dinnertime.
