Team Marco Polo is produced by a creative team that has developed bestselling media for popular kids’ shows like Beakman’s World and Bill Nye, The Science Guy.
13 shows are completed or in post production, with 13 more planned. Part travelogue, part comedy, Team Marco Polo cuts between fast-paced segments of kids on location and Marco Polo himself in the studio. Steve Ricks gives travel tips in a dead-on, parody of PBS travel guru Rick Steves. Professor Bombast gives us the finer points of world history. Sister Windy guides us in art. William Shakespeare, Charles Dickens, and other greats show up in ridiculous skits.
